Porch Theater Company presents LIVE Interactive Dinner Theater in the Beam Room at Front Street Brewery.

Dinner Theatre is alive in Wilmington…at a funeral!  Starting on March 4th, enjoy Dinner Theatre Thursdays in The Beam Room at Front Street Brewery, with the premiere of Mulligan’s Wake.

Porch Theatre Company successfully merges comedy, interactive theatre, high-end food, an Irish Wake, and an experience like none other at The Front Street Brewery on Thursday nights.

Unlike a traditional night at the movies or theatre where you watch a story unfold before you, Mulligan’s Wake incorporates the audience into the action while they dine on Top Notch fare. The actors move among the audience, have conversations with them and sometimes make them part of the show.

Special Performances on Friday March 12th, Saturday March 13th, and

St Patrick’s Day, Wednesday March 17th!

Interactive Theatre & dinner

A big congrats goes to Greg Motley for winning best in show for his Russian Imperial Chocolate Java Stout or aka…..HELLMUTT ALE.   It’s a great beer and its now for sale in the pub.  As always, the party and awards ceremony was great fun.  A big thanks goes out for all the folks who helped out judging the beer and being stewards.  We’re hoping next year we have even more entries!

Our monthly Downtowner’s Meet & Mingle is a big success! The 1st Wednesday of EVERY month, any one who lives, works, owns a business, or LOVES downtown Wilmington is invited for FREE Appetizers and a Beer Tasting. Mugs for Jugs, Front Street Brewery’s Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser, was a HUGE success! With such a wonderful outpouring from our downtown community, we were able to raise a couple grand and lend a helping hand! All of the net profits from Mugs for Jugs benefit The New Hanover Regional Medical Foundation and The Pink Ribbon Project. These organizations provide care baskets to local women recently diagnosed with Breast Cancer and provide mammograms to  women who otherwise couldn’t afford them.
